BOTH teams got off to a poor start in their opening games and are now playing catch-up to group leaders South Korea and Argentina. Greece were beaten 2-0 by South Korea while Nigeria lost 1-0 to Argentina. Nigeria have the superior World Cup record, having reached the Round of 16 twice and would expect to beat both Greece and South Korea. To make a third appearance in the knockout stage of the tournament Nigeria must win the contest against Greece convincingly. Failing which, the favourites to progress from the group will remain Argentina and South Korea.
